This tea creates a taste & colour ( commonly known in tea lingo as liquor) that is a distinct amber brown colour, with a robust full bodied, rich infusion. these tea leaves go through a process of maceration which produces a fine mash (dhool) to expose the cells to additional oxidization. This process further develops the the action of the enzymes. This produces a higher than normal antioxidant rate.
We have a beautiful "Estate" Kenyan Black Tea called Tinderet BP1, from a smaller estate concerned with ethical & sustainable practices. This is a primary, preferred grade tea, which is not blended.
